Winter Wonderland

Let it snow! We got 12in of snow on Friday another inch on Saturday and it is snowing again. We will get another few inches toady. It is so beautiful and lots of fun to watch Carter play in the snow.

Brennen's baptism

What a beautiful day to have family together and our little boy baptized. Thank you Mary Anne and Gabe for being godparents. We love you.

Fun times in KS

What a great time we had in Ks...even if we did all end up sick. It was so good to see everyone and to spend time together. There is nothing like family.

2 months

It is hard to believe Brennen is 2 months already. He is 12lbs 5oz and 23 1/4 inches. He has been sleeping for 7 hours straight at night so I have only been getting up once to feed him, usually around 4 or 5am. He is starting to look around more and is cooing which Carter thinks is funny. All in all we are doing great. For all of you have not heard we got a minivan...and WE love it!

Boys

The boys are doing great. Brennen is only waking up once during the night and going back to bed fairly quick so I have no complaints.

Halloween

We had a great Halloween! Carter loved dressing up in his dragon costume and going to visit all the neighbors. Brennen was very cozy in his bunny rabbit costume but slept for most of our visits. When we got home Carter was very excited to have treats! He even shared some pretzels with his brother.

Smiles

Carter was giving Brennen toys in his seat today and Brennen was full of smiles for him. It was the best watching Carter try to play with his brother.

No, we have not tried to potty train but, the boy loves to try. just too cute.

My sister Mary Anne came up to visit for a few days. We had a great time hanging out and will miss not having her around.

Check up

We took Brennen to the Dr's this morning and he is 8lbs 14oz and 21 and 3/4in. everything looks good. It is hard to believe he is only 2 and a half weeks old. He loves our morning walks granted he is only awake for about 2 min but he enjoys the fresh air just the same. I guess I should say Carter and I enjoy our walk. Otherwise we have just been doing a lot of hanging out around the house and playing. We are all doing good and have no complaints.

Cousins

Ashley and Liz came down to visit yesterday. Carter, Aidan and Ingrid had a blast playing and we had a great time visiting.

Carter had so much fun this morning having Brennen right next to him. He is a very proud big brother.

Awake and looking

The little boy is doing great. We went to the dr's on Monday and he was 7lbs 15oz. As you can tell he is eating great. We are sleeping pretty good and Carter is doing great with him.

Touch a truck

Last weekend Carter, Jon and my in-laws took Carter to see touch a truck. The boy loved it! As you can see he also loved Elmo and was very sad to have to leave him.
